1. Who we are
Skill-IT is the IT and telecom services brand of Skill USA, Inc. (“Skill-IT”, “we”, “us”), a member of Skill Group, an IT and telecom group headquartered in France (Skill Group SAS). This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through skill-it.tech (the “Site”).

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: first and last name, company name, email address, phone number (optional), the services you are interested in, your company size and timeline (optional), your message, and your agreement to be contacted.
- Emails and calls: the content of what you send us and your contact details.
Information collected automatically
- Context attached to a contact request: the page you sent it from, the first page you visited during your visit, the website that referred you, campaign tags (utm parameters) and whether you arrived from an ad click. This information is kept in your browser’s session storage, deleted when you close the tab, and sent to us only if you submit the form. We also calculate a priority level (high, medium, low) from the answers you choose, to route your request.
- Hosting logs: our host, Netlify, processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. Form submissions are filtered for spam.
- Cookies: only with your consent, except the cookie that stores your choice. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information and the Site is not directed to children under 16.
3. How we use it
- To answer your request, route it to the right specialist and follow up about our services.
- To run, secure and improve the Site.
- With your consent, to measure our audience (Google Analytics 4) and our advertising (Google Ads).
- To comply with the law and to establish or defend legal claims.
The priority level only helps our team decide which requests to answer first. It has no legal or similarly significant effect on you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Skill Group SAS (13 rue Fulgence Bienvenue, 22300 Lannion, France), our parent company, whose marketing team receives and handles contact requests on our behalf;
- service providers acting on our instructions: Netlify, Inc. (hosting and form processing, United States), Microsoft (email, Microsoft 365), and Google LLC (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept the related cookies);
- public authorities when the law requires it, and a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
“Sharing” under California law. If you accept advertising cookies, Google may receive identifiers and browsing data used for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California law calls “sharing”. Advertising cookies are off until you accept them; you can refuse or withdraw at any time from Your Privacy Choices. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out of sharing.
5. International transfers
Skill Group SAS is located in France and some providers process data in other countries. When information leaves the country where it was collected, we rely on contracts and safeguards appropriate to the destination.
6. How long we keep it
- Contact requests and related correspondence: for as long as we need them to handle your request and our business relationship, then up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer.

- Hosting logs: according to Netlify’s retention settings.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards (encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

California residents
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, applies, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access it, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not use sensitive personal information.

To exercise a right, email hello@skill-it.tech with the subject “Privacy request” or call +1 (858) 261 8680. We will confirm receipt, verify your identity by matching the information you give us with what we hold, and answer within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days when needed, in which case we will tell you). An authorized agent may act for you with your signed permission.
Other locations
Residents of other US states with privacy laws, and visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, may have similar rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent). For visitors in those regions, we rely on consent for cookies, on our legitimate interests to answer business inquiries and secure the Site, and on steps taken at your request before a contract. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
